Due to popular demand, we will be having a small hands-on workshop on prototyping and UI design with FuseTools! Space is VERY limited. Get your tickets NOW!
When building apps today, the workflow favors the waterfall approach, where designers begin with wireframes and mockups before it gets handed off to developers for implementation. FUSE is a tool that presents a new approach to unify design with development through rapid, real-time workflow, visual tools and simplified code, resulting in real, native apps for both iOS and Android – all the way from prototype to the high quality apps in the App Store!
We’ll learn what is involved in UI design and building an app interface, in addition to the main difference between Fuse and other prototyping tools. We’ll see some concrete examples of what can be achieved, as well as dive into some code.
New and/or always wanted to learn how to code? Here’s your chance to practice! A basic understanding of HTML is helpful (ie. what is a tag, how tags can be nested and have properties). Codeacademy offers a FREE online basic HTML lesson.
Want to learn more about prototyping and UI design? To ensure more personalized attention, we are keeping this 2-hour workshop small and questions are encouraged. We’ll help demystify it all, so that designers will be able to start creating awesome apps in no time! 🙂
Feel free to bring your laptop because it’s fun to follow along ! Just pre-install FUSE (Win & OSX) if you don’t have it. It’s free!
