Jenine Lurie is the Director of Innovation by Design at Genpact, a global business process operations (BPO) consulting firm. She is heavily engaged in discovering innovative ways to introduce robotic process automation (RPA) into manual and repetitive business operations while keeping the end operator as the primary driver for change. As a thought leader and evangelist for a User Centric Design (UCD) process, she has been the Lead UX Strategist on a wide variety of digital applications for a diverse client base, and conducts workshops for senior management & technology teams to understand the value of ‘customer first thinking’.

Join us as Jenine shares her consulting insight in understanding the alignment of business goals with user desire and motivation for intuitive product and service design. We’ll be talking about topics such as what is a UX designer’s role in strategic operations, why do we need to care about service design, the value of user research, the differences between UX/UI/IA, how to build your career in ux and the pros and cons of contract vs full time work.

Jenine Lurie holds a Masters Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) of New York University and did undergraduate work in Communications and Cognitive Science (CCS) at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. In 1997, Jenine started, a global food event guide and upon special request, will lead culinary walking tours of New York City. In 2013, she started a consulting agency and most recently in 2018, became the founder of Humans in Service Design. Her passions outside the screen are in food, wine, travel and photography.
