Courtney Turrin
Chapter Lead

Courtney is an owner and Chief Work Officer at Xponent21, a marketing and branding agency based in Richmond. Her role is focused on our team’s work experience, overseeing everything from company culture to our tech stack. She loves to apply UX concepts to nontraditional areas because she believes design thinking makes the world more inclusive and delightful. Offline, Courtney enjoys cycling and exploring the country on RV trips with her pets (2 dogs, 1 cat).

Juliette Oliva
Chapter Lead

Juliette Oliva, owner of Pixelstrike Creative, combines her love of UX and design with tactical know-how to help steer the strategic creative direction of branding, web design, and development projects. She is passionate about human-centered, inclusive approaches to design & problem-solving, especially in its relationship with UX. When we build empathy and focus on people–all people–we forge a path forward toward unlocking creativity, inspiring growth, and encouraging innovation. She firmly believes that a rising tide lifts all boats and that our work in the UX space is critical in supporting global efforts to build a better, more inclusive, and equitable world for everyone. A transplant from Oregon, Juliette has lived in Richmond for 15 years. When she is not UX-ing she can be faithfully found in her kitchen baking up a storm of culinary treats, or spending time outside with her canine companion, Oscar.
